73rd Republic Day of India celebrations at India House, Cairo

Embassy of India in Cairo celebrated 73rd Republic Day of India with enthusiasm, remembering the spirit of our freedom struggle and values enshrined in the Constitution. Ambassador Ajit Gupte unfurled the national flag and read the message of Rashtrapatiji.

Ambassador Ajit Gupte hosted a reception to celebrate the Republic Day. Braving the rain & chilly weather, over 250 eminent personalities from the Egyptian Government, Diplomatic Corps, Indian Community, Defense Attachés as well as Media & Culture attended the event. Cultural events including music & dance brightened the evening and gave a glimpse of India's cultural diversity to the invitees.
