Two-Day Silk Exhibition-cum-Buyer Seller Meet in Cairo

The Embassy of India, Cairo, in association with, the Indian Silk Export Promotion Council (ISEPC), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, is organizing a Two-Day Silk Exhibition-cum-Buyer Seller Meet (BSM) on 24-25 August 2026 in Cairo. The initiative seeks to strengthen commercial engagement between stakeholders from Indian silk and textile handicraft industry and Egyptian buyers and industry stakeholders, while providing a platform to explore new opportunities for expanding bilateral trade in silk and allied products.

The two-day exhibition and Buyer Seller Meet will provide Egyptian importers, wholesalers, retailers, buying houses, designers, design institutions and other industry stakeholders an opportunity to discover the craftsmanship, diversity, quality and contemporary design capabilities of India’s silk and textile handicrafts sector.

The participating Indian exhibitors will showcase a wide range of products, including silk and textile handicrafts, silk carpets, silk scarves and stoles, and other silk and allied silk products. The exhibition will also provide opportunities for direct interaction between Indian exporters and Egyptian businesses, facilitating business enquiries, partnerships and potential commercial tie-ups.

The Buyer Seller Meet is expected to provide a valuable platform for Egyptian buyers to engage directly with Indian manufacturers and exporters, understand their product offerings and capabilities, and explore possibilities for sourcing and long-term business cooperation.

The Embassy of India invites relevant stakeholders from the Egyptian business and trade community, including members of Egyptian trade bodies, chambers of commerce, business associations, importers, wholesalers, retailers, buying houses, designers and design institutions, to attend the Silk Exhibition-cum-Buyer Seller Meet and explore opportunities for establishing commercial linkages with Indian companies.

The event is expected to contribute to strengthening India-Egypt trade and economic cooperation, particularly in the handicrafts, silk and textile sectors, while creating new avenues for market access, business partnerships and collaboration between enterprises from the two countries.

The Embassy of India, Cairo, looks forward to welcoming Egyptian trade bodies, chambers of commerce, business associations and members of the business community to the event and to facilitating meaningful business-to-business engagements and stronger India-Egypt commercial partnerships in the silk and handicrafts sector.

معرض الحرير وملتقى المشترين والبائعين في القاهرة على مدى يومين

تنظم سفارة الهند بالقاهرة، بالتعاون مع مجلس ترويج صادرات الحرير الهندي (ISEPC) التابع لوزارة المنسوجات بحكومة الهند، معرضًا للحرير وملتقى للمشترين والبائعين (BSM) على مدى يومين خلال الفترة 24-25 أغسطس 2026 في القاهرة. وتهدف هذه المبادرة إلى تعزيز التفاعل التجاري بين الجهات المعنية بصناعة الحرير والمنسوجات اليدوية الهندية والمشترين والجهات المعنية في قطاع الصناعة بمصر، وإتاحة المجال لاستكشاف الفرص الجديدة لتوسيع التجارة الثنائية في مجال الحرير ومنتجاته.

وعلى مدى يومين، سيوفر المعرض وملتقى المشترين والبائعين للمستوردين وتجار الجملة وتجار التجزئة والجهات المعنية بالشراء والمصممين ومؤسسات التصميم وغيرها من الجهات المعنية بقطاع الصناعة في مصر، فرصة للتعرف على الحرفية والتنوع والجودة والقدرات التصميمية المعاصرة التي يتميز بها قطاع الحرف اليدوية الهندية في مجال الحرير والمنسوجات.

وسيقدم العارضون الهنود المشاركون مجموعة واسعة من المنتجات، تشمل المشغولات اليدوية من الحرير والمنسوجات، والسجاد الحريري، والأوشحة والشيلان الحريرية، وغيرها من منتجات الحرير والمنتجات ذات الصلة. كما سيوفر المعرض فرصًا للتواصل المباشر بين المصدرين الهنود والشركات المصرية، بما يسهم في تيسير الاستفسارات التجارية وإقامة الشراكات وإبرام الصفقات التجارية. 

ومن المتوقع أن يوفر ملتقى المشترين والبائعين منصة مهمة تمكن المشترين المصريين من التواصل المباشر مع المصنعين والمصدرين الهنود، والتعرف على منتجاتهم وإمكاناتهم، واستكشاف فرص التوريد والتعاون التجاري طويل الأمد.

المكان: فندق بارون القاهرة، 14 شارع البارون، المنتزه، مصر الجديدة، القاهرة. 

وتدعو سفارة الهند الجهات المعنية من مجتمع الأعمال والتجارة المصري، بما في ذلك أعضاء الهيئات التجارية والغرف التجارية وجمعيات الأعمال والمستوردين وتجار الجملة وتجار التجزئة والجهات المعنية بالشراء والمصممين ومؤسسات التصميم، إلى حضور معرض الحرير وملتقى المشترين والبائعين، واستكشاف فرص إقامة علاقات تجارية مع الشركات الهندية. 

ومن المتوقع أن تسهم الفعالية في تعزيز التعاون التجاري والاقتصادي بين الهند ومصر، لا سيما في قطاعات الحرف اليدوية والحرير والمنسوجات، إلى جانب فتح آفاق جديدة للوصول إلى الأسواق وإقامة الشراكات التجارية وتعزيز التعاون بين الشركات في كلا البلدين. 

وتتطلع سفارة الهند بالقاهرة إلى مشاركة الهيئات التجارية والغرف التجارية وجمعيات الأعمال ورجال الأعمال المصريين في هذه الفعالية من أجل بناء علاقات تعاون مثمرة بين الشركات وتعزيز الشراكات التجارية بين الهند ومصر في قطاع الحرير والحرف اليدوية.
