The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Ministry of External Affairs is pleased to invite applications from Egypt for Lata Mangeshkar Dance & Music scholarship scheme for the academic year 2025-2026. The scholarship scheme is offering 100 slots to students globally to pursue Under-graduate, Post-graduate and PhD courses in prestigious Indian Universities/Institutes. The scheme encompasses wider facets of Indian culture such as dance, music, performing art, theater, sculpture, Indian languages, Indian cuisine, etc. 

Main highlights of the Scholarship Scheme are as follows:

1. The applicant should register and apply online on the ICCR Scholarship Portal “Admission 2 Alumni” at http://a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in/. The Registration will be open from 20 February 2025 to 30 April 2025. 

2. Students between the age of 18 to 40 years (18 years as on date 01.07.2025) are eligible to apply for UG & PG courses, while age eligibility for PhD program is upto 50 years.

3. Applicants have the option to apply to 5 Universities/Institutes in order of their preference of study.

4. Applicants are advised to visit respective Universities /Institutes website regularly for courses offered, eligibility criteria and general information about the University/Institute before applying for admission.

5. Since the medium of instructions for the courses is English, the applicant should be able to speak, read and write in English.   For academic year 2024-2025, a 500-word essay in English has been introduced to ascertain English proficiency. Students may also submit their TOFEL/IELTS etc.

6. The University/Institute may also seek additional documents/evidence of knowledge in the specialized field of dance, music, theater, art, etc. 

7. Only applications submitted through the A2A Scholarship Portal will be considered. The application will not be considered without English translation of documents, if the original documents are not in English. 

8. The scholarship will cover a return economy class airfare, tuition fees, living allowance, and stay in the campus hostel.
