The fact that the first President of EIFA was none less than President Mohammed Naguib, the first President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, shows the importance attached to this non-governmental, voluntary organisation. The Government of Egypt continues to view EIFA as an important platform to promote peoples’ interaction in the political, economic and cultural spheres.
