About Us Exhibitions

-MACIC in co-operation with Foreign Cultural Relations sector, Ministry of Culture organized a photo exhibition “Colours of India” by Mona Abdel Karim, which was inaugurated on 8th Jan 2018 at the Egyptian Centre for International Cultural Cooperation, Zamalek, by Mr. Helmy El Namnam Egyptian Minister of Culture.

-MACIC in cooperation with the Museum of Islamic Arts, Ministry of Antiquity, organized a photo exhibition “Lens” by a group of Artists on 4th Feb 2018.

- A photo exhibition by Dr. Khaled Gawdat, was inaugurated at Sawy Culture Wheel on 14 March 2018. Dr. Gawdat is a plastic surgeon who could present India’s diversity in his professional photographic way. Mr. Ashraf Talaat, the reputed Photographer who had visited India many times, was the Chief Guest.

-As part of Tagore festival, MACIC organized an exhibition on the paintings of Tagore titled ‘Rabindranath Tagore: Rhythm in Colours’ at the Museum of Ahmed Shawky at Giza, on  5/5/2018.
-On the occasion of 142nd Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel a Photo Exhibition was conducted on 31/10/18 at MACIC premises.

- MACIC Inaugurated the photo exhibition of "Kanu's Gandhi"- an exhibition of rare photos taken by Kanu Gandhi, grandnephew of Mahatma Gandhi, at El Hanager Gallery, Cairo Opera House grounds, Cairo as a part of 150th Birthday Anniversary celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi on 06/11/2018 and in Bibliotheca Alexandrian venue on 12/11/2018.

-As part of the 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi, MACIC organized “Khadi Exhibition”. The exhibition showcased premium products of Khadi including different fabrics, cosmetics and village industries products on 24/01/2019 at MACIC premises.
