Indian Film Festival in Cairo

The Embassy of India in Cairo, in collaboration with Egypt’s Ministry of Culture, successfully hosted the Indian Film Festival in Cairo from 10–13 August 2025 at the historic Henager Cinema in Zamalek. The festival featured acclaimed films including English Vinglish, Goodbye, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, and RRR, drawing enthusiastic audiences each evening. With free public screenings and Arabic subtitles, the event celebrated the richness of Indian cinema while fostering cultural exchange and strengthening the bonds of friendship between India and Egypt.
