Name of the post	Chauffeur
Job Description	Driving Embassy vehicle during the weekdays and also during weekends on need basis.Flexible to function beyond regular duty hours. Proper maintenance and upkeep of Embassy vehicle.
Educational Qualification	At least 10th Standard from recognized school in Egypt.
Mandatory Requirement & Driving Skills	Valid driving license & Proficiency in driving a wide range of vehicles – sedans, SUVs, vans – with good knowledge of local laws, traffic rules, routes and road networks in Cairo and Egypt.
Experience	Minimum of 03 years’ work experience as a professional driver (preferably for diplomatic missions or international organizations)
Additional Qualification	The candidate must possess good communication skills and working knowledge of English. Knowledge of car maintenance and mechanics.
Emoluments	US$ 700+ approx. plus overtime allowance as admissible.
Residential Status	Candidate should be Egyptian residing in Egypt.
Probation	The selected candidate will be kept on probation for a period of 06 months (extendable to 01 year) before confirmation.

JOB VACANCY The Embassy of India in Cairo invites applications from suitable candidates for the post of Translator – cum – Media Coordinator.
Name of the post	Translator – cum – Media Coordinator
Brief Description of Job	Scanning of daily newspapers and magazines, TV Channels, Radio / other media sources of current affairs for translations of Columns / Editorials / News items / opinions and translation of India-related items. Assisting in arranging film festivals, cultural festivals and exhibition. Management of social media handles, content creation, draft and post on social media, awareness of social media trends across multiple platforms.
Age	Between 25 to 35 years
Educational Qualification	Bachelor’s degree from any recognized college / university, preferably in languages / translation, having good command in speaking and writing English and Arabic
Experience	Prior experience of working in Diplomatic Missions will be preferred
Computer Skills	Good knowledge of computer operations viz. Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet, designing, PDF conversion, photo and video editing software etc., with typing speed of over 30 words per minute in English
Social Media Skills	Ability to create social media strategy based on key objectives and deliverables
Emoluments	US$ 900+ approx.
