The Centre brings to Egypt, music and dance troupes from different regions of India and arranges their performances in Cairo and other cities with cooperation from the Ministry of Culture of Egypt. Highly talented classical musicians and folk dancers sponsored by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) present their talent and skills to entertain the Egyptian audience from time to time.

A 10-member Bhangra Group, visited Egypt from 25-28 January 2018 and performed at Republic day reception at Conrad Hotel, Port Said Cultural Palace, and at Alexandria Sayed Darwish theatre.As part of Tagore festival, MACIC organized two Music Concerts called (Music Mind). One at India House on 6/5/18, and the second one in Alexandria on 7/5/18.

A 10-member Rajasthani Folk Group, visited Egypt from 14-24 February 2018. Apart from the different venues of 6th Aswan International Festival for Culture the team also performed at  Al Gomhuria Theatre on 14/02/18.An 8 member Qawali Group, sponsored by ICCR visited Egypt from 20-29 September 2018 to participate in the International Festival for Religious Chanting and Sufi Music (Samaa). The Nrityangan Kathak Kendra troupe led by Ms. Paramita Maitra, visited Egypt from 1-8 Dec, 2018. The troupe gave four performances at the Prize Distribution Ceremony of the ‘Glimpses of India’ painting competition in Cairo, Mansoura, Ismailia Governorate and at Ain Shams University. An 11 member Bundeli Kala Parishad Folk group visited Egypt from 18-28 April 2019 to participate in the 7th International Festival for Drums and Traditional Arts. The troupe gave nine performances at famous locations in Cairo.
