Local Festivals
MACIC participated in a number of local festivals and Cultural events held in Egypt in 2022, as detailed under the link “Visit of Cultural Troupes”.
These include participation in the 9th International Festival for Drum and Traditional Arts held from 21 to 28 May 2022 at Cairo Citadel, the 30th International Citadel Festival for Singing & Music’ on 18 August 2022 at Saladin Citadel, Cairo and 15th International Festivals for Chanting and Spiritual Music (SAMAA) organized by the Egyptian Ministry of Culture from 17 to 24 September 2022, Ramadan nights, Annual SECS (Sakia Exhibition for Cultural Services) at El Sawy Cultural Wheel on 17 February 2022, the 11th International Cultural Festival organized by the British University on its campus at El Sherouk City, Misr-Ismailia Road on 20/03/22, the annual celebrations “Ramadan nights” program organized by Egypt’s Supreme Council of Culture at the Cultural Park for Children in Sayyida Zeinab, from the 12th till the 21st of April 2022. In all these events, MACIC Organized Indian Art and Craft Exhibition, Yoga Sessions and Bollywood Dance.
MACIC also participated in 'International Cultural Festival' at Dandy Mega Mall, in 6th October City, Cairo on 17 June 2022, 3rd World Children's Festival organized by Ministry of Youth & Sports held at Ministry on 15 October 2022
