As a part of strengthening the international engagement, IIT Hyderabad is proud to announce the Fellowship for International Research Scholars in Technology (FIRST@IITH) scheme (
www.iith.ac.in/iar/FIRST-FELLOWSHIP) for supporting bright and motivated international research scholars for pursuing PhD at IIT Hyderabad with full financial support.
The details of the fellowship are:
Minimum Eligibility
Foreign nationals with excellent academic qualifications having a master's degree in engineering/technology in the relevant disciplines and a minimum CGPA of 8.5 (on a 10 point scale or equivalent).
Desirable
Degree from a topline university in their respective countries, Research output in terms of publications/patents will be given a weightage during shortlisting.
Selection process
Shortlisting followed by an online interview.
Duration of the fellowship: 4 years
Fellowship amount: INR 60,000/- per month
Contingency support: Up to INR 1,00,000/- per year
