Every year, Presidential Awards (International) are given to scholars in Sanskrit and Classical languages Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam and Odia by the Government of the Republic of India. Under this, One International Award of Certificate of Honor to Non-resident Indian or person of non-Indian origin with outstanding contribution in the field of Sanskrit and Two International Awards (one each for person of Indian and Non-Indian origin) in each of the Classical languages Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam and Odia are being given.
2. The Mission is seeking for nominations and recommendations of such scholars. A copy of their resume of published books (not more than two pages) and the English translation of the title and work of the scholars if they are in a different language has to be submitted along with.
3. The last date of submission of the nominations and recommendation is 14th April 2021.
4. The duly filled proforma for nomination could be sent to sa.cairo@mea.gov.in.
