Indian Film Festival in Alexandria: Celebrating the Spirit of Indian Cinema in Egypt
The Embassy of India in Cairo, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture of the Arab Republic of Egypt, proudly presents the Indian Film Festival on Wednesday, 10 September 2025 at the Anfoushy Cultural Palace, Alexandria.
This special evening will feature acclaimed films from India that showcase the richness, diversity, and emotional depth of Indian cinema.

Through this festival, the Mission aims to strengthen cultural ties and foster mutual understanding between India and Egypt. Indian cinema, celebrated worldwide for its storytelling, music, and vibrant emotions, offers a unique window into India’s traditions, culture, and contemporary narratives.
The festival is part of the Embassy’s broader efforts to promote cultural diplomacy and nurture people-to-people connections between our two ancient civilizations.
The Embassy of India in Cairo cordially invites all cinema enthusiasts to watch Indian Bollywood movies with Arabic subtitles. All film screenings are free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
