Indian Cine Week in Cairo from 7-10 December 2025

The Embassy of India in Cairo is pleased to announce the launch of Indian Cine Week, a vibrant showcase of contemporary Indian films. The festival will take place from 7 to 10 December 2025 at the Hanager Theatre, Opera House Complex, Cairo.

Indian Cine Week aims to highlight the rich diversity of Indian storytelling, featuring critically acclaimed and award-winning films across various regional languages and genres. Screenings will begin daily at 7:00 PM, offering audiences in Egypt an opportunity to experience India’s dynamic cinematic landscape. All films will be in original audio with Arabic subtitles.

A light-hearted Hindi comedy-drama centered around quirky characters and family values.

Kantara

A Kannada blockbuster blending folklore, mysticism, and action, praised for its storytelling and cinematography.

Admission: Entry is free and open to the public. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Embassy invites cinema lovers, cultural enthusiasts, students, and members of the Indian and Egyptian communities to join this four-day celebration of artistic expression and cultural exchange.
