Indian Film Festival in Cairo: Celebrating the Spirit of Indian Cinema and Strengthening Cultural Ties

The Embassy of India in Cairo, in collaboration with the Cultural Development Fund under Egypt's Ministry of Culture, is proud to present the Indian Film Festival from 10 - 13 August 2025 at the historic Henager Cinema in Zamalek. Screenings will begin daily at 7:00 PM, showcasing acclaimed Indian films that reflect the diversity, emotion, and storytelling depth of Indian cinema.

The festival is part of the Embassy’s broader efforts to promote cultural diplomacy and people-to-people ties between the two ancient civilizations.

This festival is not just a celebration of Indian cinema but also a reflection of the strong and growing cultural relationship between our two countries.

The Embassy of India in Cairo cordially invites all cinema enthusiasts to watch Indian Bollywood movies with Arabic subtitles. All film screenings are free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
