 “Caricature on Yoga” Competition

The Embassy of India in Cairo, in collaboration with the Abla Art Foundation, Fayoum Art Centre, and Egypt Cartoon Blog, is pleased to announce an exciting art initiative, the “Caricature on Yoga” competition. This unique contest invites caricature artists to creatively depict the spirit, practice, and philosophy of Yoga through the art of caricature.

Yoga has seen growing popularity in Egypt in recent years, and this competition aims to blend the visual storytelling power of caricature with the universal appeal of Yoga. It offers a platform for artists to express their creativity and cultural interpretation of Yoga in a creative, engaging, and thought-provoking way.

A jury will carefully evaluate all submissions, and the top three winning entries will be selected and honored with trophy, certificate and cash prizes during a special award ceremony at the Maulana Azad Centre for Indian Culture in Cairo.

In addition to the award ceremony, an exhibition showcasing all selected caricature entries will be held at the Maulana Azad Centre, offering the public an opportunity to appreciate the diverse artistic interpretations of Yoga.

The Embassy of India extends a warm invitation to all caricature artists and enthusiasts to participate in this cultural celebration and contribute to fostering stronger people-to-people ties between India and Egypt through art.
